Access Control
We supply and fit a wide range of door entry and access control systems. These can be a simple one lock system that consists of a electronic lock controlled via a keypad to enable pin code entry or a remote entry button to ‘buzz’ visitors in. This can incorporate a video display if required.
For the larger setup involving multiple doors, perhapes involving internal securing of doors to sensitive areas such as server rooms etc where only authorised persons may have access, we use a slightly more sophisticated approach. To enable selective entry such as this, we use a server/client setup.
We use a system produced by Paxton Access which is a complete setup comprising of the door units (ACU's) all being linked via network cable back to an available PC running the Paxton Net 2 server software. The system can then be administrated from a client PC (up to 5 Clients connected at any one time) whether they be in another depatment in the same office block or whether they be in another location altogether via TCP/IP. The system can use IP cameras to log door access events along with a photo image of the door area.
